R21S4 "OD Shirt" in Dark Mud, cut from high-density cotton and linen parachute cloth woven on a wooden shuttle loom in Shizuoka, Japan. Relaxed and straight through the body with generous armholes, relaxed sleeves, a high stand collar, button front and large chest pocket. The fabric is hand-dyed by Kanai Kougei in Amami-Ōshima using 25 cycles of Dorozome, alternating a tannin-rich dye made from local Teichiki bark with iron-rich mud to build depth of colour. Natural variations may occur through the hand-dyeing process, with the finish designed to evolve through washing, wear and exposure to sunlight. Finished with corozo buttons.
